Workshop on Carbon Based Materials
International Congress Center, Dresden, 11:00 – 15:00

The European ObservatoryNANO project launches a short workshop during the Nanofair conference with focus on the future of carbon based materials.

A peer reviewed report on this topic will be published in April on the ObservatoryNANO website (http://www.observatory-nano.eu). The intention of the workshop is not only to discuss the report but also to discuss possible future directions from a scientific and commercial point view. Several outstanding experts including Hans-Jörg Fecht (University of Ulm), Alison Crossley (University of Oxford), Hans-Joachim Scheibe (Fraunhofer IWS) and Leif Brand (VDI-TZ) will give a short introduction to this topic. After that a round table discussion is planned. Key questions to be addressed will be most promising carbon based applications and future markets.

The workshop is limited to 40 participants. Therefore an early registration is required at birgit.schaub@iws.fraunhofer.de.
